Dr. Becky (Rebecca) Andrews, ND, LAc, LMP

  • Hi, I'm Dr. Andrews.   I am a licensed Naturopathic Physician, Acupuncturist, and Massage Therapist.
  • I earned both my Naturopathic and Acupuncture degrees at Bastyr University.  I have a bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Kentucky.  I received my massage training at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy.
  • Some of my earliest introduction to natural medicine was in massage school where I was introduced to both Chinese medicine and herbal medicine.  I have been lucky enough to study herbal medicine with master herbalists in Boulder, CO and the Amazon basin, Peru.
  • My clinical interests are: physical medicine and pain management, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, environmental medicine / detoxification, biotherapeutic drainage and women's health.
  • I strive to combine eastern, western, traditional, and contemporary healing philosophies and therapies into a truly individualized approach for each patient.
  • Treatments with me will often combine conventional medicine, naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, and physical medicine modalities.  I commonly combine acupuncture with spinal manipulation, massage, and physical therapy techniques such as ultrasound or electrical muscle stimulation.  I also frequently incorporate food allergy testing, herbal medicines, nutrient therapy, detoxification and biotherapeutic drainage remedies.
  • I believe that my role as a physician is to empower patients in their unique journey toward the optimal health of their body, mind and spirit.  I find this is best achieved by collaborating  as an equal partner in the healing process of each patient,  removing the obstacles to health, and supporting the innate ability and wisdom of each person to heal themselves.
  • I value the genuine connection I have with my patients.  My office is a nurturing and safe environment where patients feel empowered and respected as individuals, but also challenged to move forward in their journey toward optimal health.  My office is a place of laughter, exploration, challenges, transformation and growth!
  • I also serve as adjunct faculty at Bastyr University teaching subjects such as massage & physical medicine, minor surgery, and botanical medicine.
  • I currently serve on the board of directors for the  Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians
  • I am currently a Member of:
  •     American Association of Naturopathic Physicians

  •       Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians

  •       Acupuncture Alliance

  •     Physicians for Social Responsibility

  • And a past member of:
  •     American Botanical Council

  •     American Herbalist Guild

  •     American Massage Therapy Association

  • My pre-medical background includes dance, music, spirituality, and indigenous healing traditions.
