As my teachers in medical school always said "don't miss something stupid". What they meant is to never skip the basics. This is my foundational bloodwork panel. It is an expansion of the "basic" bloodwork most doctors do for your annual physical. I start here with all of my patients. It gives me information about the liver, kidney, glucose metabolism, lilpid metabolism, immune system, ability to carry oxygen, anemia, ability to absorb nutrients, and basic nutrient status.
